Why spend money on flyers as they are just going to be thrown away, right? The answer to that question is a little tricky. A safe but true answer is not necessarily. Think about a time that you received a flyer that helped convince you that something was a great idea. If you can't think of one let us provide you with an example of a way this happens every day. Using Real Estate as an example, how many expensive homes were sold because of interest sparked by a well-designed flyer printed on quality paper stock? The answer is, a very large number of homes. The flyer itself may not have been the deciding factor in those cases, but it definitely helped take the sales process to the next level.
Whether it's in your business or life itself things change. Have you recently added a new product or service in your business? If you have already done so, or are planning to in the near future you need to promote this. Both potential and existing clients need to know about modifications to your product line. Consider adding a value by offering a special price as an incentive to help your clients take action in purchasing this new item.
If you belong to a group or chapter of a networking organization you probably have relationships with many of the members. A flyer that lists your products and services is a great way to make those members aware of all you have to offer. In most cases you have a limited time to talk about your business. Leave them with something they can take with them. You never know where it may lead.
The next time you attend an expo where you have a booth or table, be sure to take flyers with you to remind visitors who they met. Be sure to include a call-to-action with an incentive for giving you a try.
