Customer Portals

What Are They Anyway?

     A Customer Portal is a great free time saving tool available to any of our customers upon request that allows you to see any of the items you have printed in the past for the purpose of quickly and easily reordering those items as you need them.  So how does this work?  Lets start out by discussing and showing you some of the features that a Customer Portal has to offer.
     Probably the best place to start is to simply let us know that you would interested in having a Customer Portal setup for you and your business.  That is all we need to know to start working on yours today.  Once your portal is setup you need to gain access to it.  Here is how it is done.  From the Homepage of our website you click on the "Customer Login" menu button as shown.

Once you click on this menu item you are taken to another screen where you actually enter your login information.  Where do I get my Username & Password?  Not to worry because the minute we complete your Customer Portal you are sent a follow-up Email which includes this information for your records.  Can I reset my password once I have it?  Actually, that is something we do for you.  Just ask and it is done. Why is that?  The reason for this is that as you order new products we can create a new catalog for that item type.  After we do this we check to make sure everything is working as it should prior to informing you that it is ready.  We need to know the password information to access your portal for that reason.  Now that you are logged into your portal the fun stuff begins.  A new window appears welcoming you to your new Customer Portal.

You will notice that we have added your logo to your Welcome page.  We want to feel at home in your portal and know that this is your area to do as you please.  At the bottom of the Welcome page you will find a series of News Links placed to provide you with valuable information on a variety of topics you may be interested in.  One other thing to note is the new menu that appears giving you access to a variety of features, many of which you can find throughout our website.  We made it convenient to do most things you need right where you are.  That is pretty awesome, but how do I access my catalogs from here?  In the next section we'll see how to do that.  Now you are ready to browse your catalog(s) to see the items you have ordered in the past and may be ready to reorder again.  One of the items on the menu found on your Welcome Page is "Document Library."  Clicking that button is what takes you into your catalog(s) of items.

To recap a little you have accessed your login area, logged into your portal, scanned your Welcome page, and now you are ready to see your items.  After you click on the "Document Library" button, found on the Welcome Page menu, your catalog window opens and you see one of your first items shown.  In this case it is an image of a business card.  You will notice that there is a table shown below the image that contains a number of standard order quantities and pricing.  Also the name of the item is listed as well.  Lastly, you will see that a drop down arrow is to the right of the item.  This is where you would select your desired quantity, followed by clicking the "Continue" button.  Wait, I'm not sure that is the exact item I want.  Can you enlarge the image?  Actually, you can by simply clicking on the Thumbnail of the image a new window will open with an enlargement of the item.  Let's try it.

So as you can see the new window or tab (depending on your browser) appears and shows you an enlargement of the item you clicked on.  This feature allows you to see all of the details of your item to make sure that it contains all of the correct information.  Assuming everything is fine with the original card then simply use the drop down arrow to choose your order quantity and then click on the "Continue" button.  Now you are just one step away from placing your order.  This time you are taken away to the final screen in the ordering process.  Here is where you will either accept the order quantity you have chosen or decide to change the quantity if you made an error originally.

I chose the wrong quantity when I first selected the item.  Not a problem.  Just use the down arrow found on this screen to choose the correct quantity and then click on the "Update Quantities" button.  I accidentally chose the item I wanted once while browsing a first time, and then I reordered the same thing again the second time.  I really only wanted one set of cards.  Now what do I do?  All you have to do is click the "Delete" button next to one of the items in your Shopping Cart and it goes away instantly.  I am fine with that, but how to I actually place my order?  Use the Scroll Bar on the right-hand side of your Browser to get to the bottom of the page.

Wait, let's say that some of my contact information has changed and I do need changes. What should I do then? In that case, since you already scrolled down the page to complete your order you will see an "Additional Details" form appear.  In this area simply type in the changes that need to be made. We will then create your new card using the information provided. You never even have to leave this screen.  We would then replace your old card with the new one in your portal.  One last time saver we provide is that the contact information fields are already completed for you.  When you have all the information the way you want it, or if everything is fine with the original, click on the "Submit Request" button and you are done.  We take it from there.  You simply watch for your proof to arrive, approve it, and we complete your order.
